(Specially written for Tni Dokinion.) TUESDAY. Tomato Soup. Roast Mutton. Onion Sauce. Potatoes. Baked Tomatoes. Apple Batter. ■ , TOMATO SOUP. ' I Two quarts of stock, 8 or 10 fresh tomatoes, loz; butter, loz, flour, 2 thin' slices of bacon, 1 carrot, 4 a turnip, 2 tmall or 1 large onion, a pinch of herbs, 12 peppercorns, 3 cloves, salt. Fry the carrot, turnip, and onion in batter till a light brown, add flour and tomatoes and cook for a few minutes. Pour in the stock and stir until it boils, simmer very gently for about an hour or until the vegetables aro quite tender. Add o few drops,of carmine if not,a good colour. FOE TO-MORROW. • Stock. Vinegar. Tomatoes. Blackberry. Suet.
