BETTER CARRIERS.
INQUIRY INTO ALLEGED DIS- ■ V CONTENT. An inquiry has been held into the die"content said to exist amongst letter* carriers in Wellington. Of 67' won on duty, 59 stated thoy had no cause, for mmplaint. Of the other oigot four admittcd they had no grievance, seeiAg: they. • had made no complaint, but thoy asked ■ that their rounds ho reduced, and this will be agreed to. Tho complaints of ho other four men were more or less trwial. It is statod that where ftey «J» «» unreasonable the men could fan: obtained redress, at any timo on application to the Department.
