A considerable number of visitors have already arrived for tho Masterton show, which opens on Tuesdav next, nrtd tho town is filling fast. Tho weather is settled, end promises to be fine. The man who recently sought work on a local station, and conducted himsolf in a most orrntio manner, has been discover, cd to bo tho person who escaped from tho Porirua Mental Hospital on February 10. He has been placed in custody by the local police. Hubbard Bros., bootmakers, have been adjudged bankrupt, Tho liabilities are set clown at JUSG 3s. 10d., and the assets at HSG2 17s. lid.
