Garden Party at Government House • His Excellency tho Governor and tho Countess of Liverpool entertained a large number of guests at o garden party at Government House on Saturday afternoon. Somewhat contrary lo expectations, tho afternoon proved; to bo beautifully fine, though with a certain chilliness discernible in the wind, that sent evoryono seeking for the sunshine and secluded spots away from tho breeze—a surprisingly gentlo ono for, Welljngton, of late.
