Cologne is about to follow the example of Frankfort-on-Main in forming a charitable society of women to assist otLer women. About seventy women in Frankfort give their time to caring for the homes of women who are ill, or in bospitali, or in other ways partly or wholly unable to attend to their household duties The helper arrives soon after the husband has left for his work, does all tlio necessary cleaning, attends to. the ctildren, and prepares for the mans home-coming.
