MOTOR-CYCLING.
The Wellington Motor Cycling Club will hold! an open side-car reliability trial on Saturday. Tho courso will bo to. Levin and back, a distance of 129 miles. Competitors will be required to rido jo schedule—Class A (under 600 c.c.), Welling-ton-Paekakariki, 12 m.p.h.; PaekakarikiLovin, 14 m.p.h. Class B (over 600 c.c.), II m.p.h., and 16 m.p.h. over the respective sections. Controls will bo established nt the ' foilowing placesUp: Pahmitanui, Paekakariki, Otaki, Levin. Down: Otaki, Paekakariki, Porirua, and Wellington (Customhouse). Secret controls will bo established wherever possible, except between Pahautanui and Paekakariki, and Paokakariki and Porirua. The starting times for Class'A will be: Wellington 7 ajjn., Lovin 2 p.m.; and for Class B, Wellington 7.-10 a.m.; Levin 2.-S0 p.m. The first prize will be a trophy (presented by Dr. [toss, Petone), to tho rider losing the least number of marks; and the second prize a club trophy value .CI Is. Certificates will fcn awarded to riders arriving at ovcry known control within the margin allowed. A brncelct (presented' by Mr. and Mv:-. W. Beamho.inn-l'hU-) will b# awarded to tho passongor carried by the private owner losing liie leait numb;r of marks.
