Corrigan will act as officer commanding during the.-sth (Regiment's encampment, which < begins to-day; Tho regiment will leave for Trentham this evening. A certain number of men have found it impossible to attend tho camp owing to their civilian duties, and to tho fact that a brigade camp calls away a larger nuinbor of employees. ' (t is stated that applications from em'ployers. wiring for exemption on behalf cf their employees have been very reason-, ably dealt with by the authorities.
