Mail advices relating to the retirement of Mr. J. Bruco Ismay from tho position of president of the International Mercantile Marine Company state that last' February he intimated his desire to retire in favour of Mr. Harold Sanderson, who, under Mr. Ismay's presidency, has been associated with tho concern sinco its commencement. Arrangements were then mado accordingly, tho change lo take placo on Jum 30. 1013, so as to allow Mr. Sanderson to take'six months', leave of absence from January 1 before assuming office.
