Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Wellington, report' as follows on.itheir' annual Poriruo, sale, held yesterday, in Mr. iluugavin's yards, which were Kindly lent for the occasion Sheep camo forward well up to advertised numbers, and tho bidding ,wa,s vory-brisk,, most of the,lines being eold under the hammer. There was a fair entry of cattle, and all lines offered were in good demand. Wo quote the following prioes:—Two-tooth to .f.f.m. ewes,- Bs. iod., lis. 8d;, 12a. 6d., to 135.-6 d.: two and four- ' tooth wethers, to. 155.; woolly lambs, to 10s. 7d.; shorti lambs, ss. to Bs.; twenty-months steers, '•£} 12s: IM.; twenty-months heifers, £4 3s. 6d.; six-year maro, £18 10s.; yearling colts.-£9. ■ ' ' i
