TARANAKI SHOW.
PROSPECTS OF A ItECOED. Tho secretary of tho Tnrnnaki A. and P Association (Mr. Arthur Cliff) states that very encouraging support, is being extended to the anitunl show which is to open at New Plymouth on February 20, and a record gathering is anticipated. Already lie has received some hundreds of entries in all the sections, from different parts,of tho Dominion'.' Tho en-tries-from, the outside districts are said to be unusually numerous. Entries in tho stock sections are to hand from Hawke's Bay, the .Wairarapa, and also the South Island. This is considered very promising, as with the extra support that will bo forthcoming from the Now Plymouth district, owing to show being now held at a more convenient time of the year, than hitherto, the society looks confidently for a record show. A considerable amount of space has been applied for, for agricultural machinery exhibits, prominent amongst which will be milking machines of different. types. Entries close on February 15.
