. THE EDWIN FEATHERS. There was an interesting.tussle on the Wellington Club's green on Saturday afternoon, when Hollard brought a, rink from the Hutt Club to try and wrest the trophies from ; Ballinger'a rink. Their mission was unsuccessful. The result was as follows:—v

The recent rapprochement between the Northern Bowling Association and the New Zealand Bowling Association (South Mand) and tho prospect of an early union between the two bodies has brought about the meeting of the champion rinks of the two associations, as determined at the recent big tournaments at Auckland and Christchurch. A champion of chamB ions' rink match is to be played .at hristchurch on Saturday next, between tho winning rinks, who are to find the champion rink of New Zealand on tho two-out-of-three-games principle. The winners of.the Northern Bowling Association's banner and shield wore—Kinvig, Leslie, Porteous, Bell (s.), of the Wellington Club, and the winners of the New Zealand Association's tournament were:— Brown, Eraser, Wolff (s.), of Christchurch. The meeting of these two rinks is sure to create great interest among the bowling fraternity, and will, it is hoped, cement the good feeling which already exists between the two bodies. THE SIXTY-FIVERS' SINGLES.
