Visitors to tho Dannevirke A. and P. Society's Show on Wednesday and Thursday next of next week will havo evidence of tho progressive spirit which pervades ! the members of tliis institution. The new grounds at -Mangatera 'have been transformed, and have been laid out in a way which-should suit tho convenience of exhibitors and patrons, wliiile - the oral contains n larger enclosed area than tho Palinerstori North show grounds. A fine up-to-date grandstand has also been erected. From the display view-point this year's fixture promises to completely eclipse its predecessors. -Record 1 entries luvve been received, and the fixture promises'to be a distinct step,in advance of even last year's creditable display. Tho fact that Lord and Lady Liverpool aro specially to visit Dannevirlto in order ■ that his Excellency may _ open the new gronnds tends to add additional interest to next,' week's gathering.
