—— BOX KILLED BY A HORSE. (Bj Telegraph.—Pkssb Association.) Woodvlllc, February 8. Last night an. eighteen-months-old'boy, belonging to. Mr. Charles Xynoh, of Masterton Road, was kicked by a horse. Tho little fellow lingered until 6 o'clock this morning, when ha died. CHILD DROWNED. : i Ashburton, February. 7. The fourt«6n-month6-old 6on of Mr. J. M. Ho will also seo tho sen-etudes of unions connected with tho different manufacturing industries and obtain' their views on tho question 'of tho shortage of labour, and these he will forward with his report. Mr. Collins commenced l:is inquiries m Christchurch on Wednesday, and e.-uiects to conclude in that city by tho middle of next week. Ho will then visit somo other centre in tho Canterbury provincial district and afterwards go on to Duncdin.
