Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having held their annual ram fair at 1 Waipukurau, Hawko's Bay, on February 6, when they offered a fair catalogue of rams to a good attendance of farmers and others. Tho competition for Komneys and Lincolns was not as keen as was expeotcd. 1 Southdowns, however, wero in good demand, and sold readily under the hammer, i Altogether, the class of sheep which came forward was not up to tho usual Btan- , dard.
