11.M.5. NEW ZEALAND. (By Telegraph.—Press Aesoolatlon.) Dunedin, February 7. At a meeting of tho Otago branch ,of the Navy League to-day a motion was passed expressing ; gratification that the unsatisfactory slate of affairs relative to correspondence with tho London office that existed for some timo past was not due to neglect on the part of the Home office. The executive trusts that the steps taken to prevent the recurrence of the malicious destruction of the inward and outward correspondence of the Homo offioo will provo effective, and that the satisfactory relations formerly existing between tlio two offices will be completely re-established., Reforenco was made to the forthcoming visit of H.M.S. New Zealand. Members expressed the general belief that the vessel would not visit this port, but there was a unanimous feeling that tho opportunity of seeing her should be availed of by at least some representatives of the sohool branches of the league. ' Tho executive proposes, if practicable, to Bend a contingent of boys and girls from the primary and secondary schools to Tisit the battleship at the most convenientport. " I
