The ceremony was performed at the Church of the Sacred Heart, by the Rev. Father M'Menamin. Tho bride, who was given away by her father, wore a gown of cream satin with oreani Idee overdress, and veil and orange blossoms." She carried o Wuquet of cream roses and maidenhair fern The bridesmaids were Miss D. A wedding of interest to Auckland anc Wellington -people took place in St Thomas's Church, Motueka, on Monday February D, when Mis 3 Lottie Guthrie daughter of Mr. M. ' , There passed away last week at he: residence in Whangarei, a very old col onist in the person of Mrs.' Fordham widow of the late Mr Sydney Fordham, say the Auckland "Herald." • Tho deceased who had reached the age' of 80 years, ar rived in Auckland with her husband ii January, 1855. She is survived by tw< sons and four daughters,. two of whon are married, and nine grandchildren. Thi interment took place at Leigh, Omaha and was numerously attended by manj old frionds. , : ■. '.'
