The honours of the performance were-borne off by Miss Sybil ATundalo as Nanoya, Mr. \V. S. Percy as Chambuddy Eham, and clever Miss 'Dorothy Brunton as Peggy Sabine. "The Cingalee" will bo produced finally this evening. '■ : ; To-morrow ©vening Collier's charming comic Opera, "Dorothy" , will !bo produced for the first timo for some year?, and there is little doubt but that- this popular work will be received byUargo and enthusiastic audiences. Miss Amy Murphy will appear 'as "Dorothy," in which'rolo she is not unknown in Wellington, Mr. Reginald Roberts as Geoffrey Wilder, Mr. W. Talleur ' Andrews ■ as ,Harry. Sherwood., Mr. W. S. Percy as Lurcher, Miss Celia Ghiloni' as-"'Mrs. Privott, Miss Dorothy-Brim ton as Phyllis, and Mr. Victor: as Squire Bantam. Tho two performances of "Dorothy" will bring the season to a close. ■ i, HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE. "The Voyage of Ulysses" is now being screened at His Majesty's Theatre. The old Attic customs and adventures are excellently depicted, and the staking of the drama is gorgeous. The supporting pictures aro-very entertaining. THEATRE ROYAL. . The present Fuller-Brennan Company is attracting out-sizes in audiences to the Theatre Royal. The artists include Miss' Maud Fanning, who specialises cleverly in coon songs, the Elliott Sisters, Arthur Elliott, Victor the Great, the -Lyntons, the' Brackens; the Tit-Bits, and Fred. Rivenhall. . THE KING'S THEATRE. "A Gipsy's Hato" is the title of the | star picture at the King's Theatre.' Other pictures are: "With the Colours" and 'The Thunderbolt" (a Tonnhauser drama).-'- ; ' , NEW THEATRE. "The Secret Treaty," an exceptionally fine drama by the Solax Company, is the star, picture ,to bo shown to-day in tho change of programme at tho New Theatre; Tho picture is supported bv a Cines drama, "High Tide/ and the Kalein Company. are responsible for a sensational entitled "On the Trail of the Germs.'' A series of scenic and comic films will also be included in the programme. EMPRESS THEATRE. The regular change at tho Empress Theatre comprise a number of very good films. Prominent among these is an A.B. exclusive comedy, "My Hero," in which some beautiful child acting is inf I'' lo S. and A. exclusive drama, .The Moving Finger," is another notable item. This 13 a detective; drama of the highest type. A number of exceptionally good comedies are also included in today's programme. The management announce that Solids drama, "The Count of Monte Cristo,".will be shown to-day, in addition to the new programme. ' PEOPLE'S PICTURE PALACE.' ' The new programme that is to bo shown to-day to-night at the People's Picture Palace is headed by a Pasquali drama, entitled "From tho Realms of Darkness." This film tells the story of a circus ■ employee's love for the proprietors daughter, and the way in which he won her. This is supported by an excellent nnd varied programme, in which a Selig cowboy" dramn, "Tho Cattle Rustics Eex domeStio drama, entitled Tho Hour of Peril/' stand promin* ent. Pat, tho Soothsayer," a Kalem comedy of outstanding merit, is also to be included in the programme. SIIORTTS' THEATRE, ' The usual change of programiho will take place at Shortts' Theatre to-day. Tho star film will be a Vitagraph drama, ;T|io Loyalty of Sylvia," in which Maurico Oosteiio and I'lorenco Turaer piny tho leading parts. . HUGARD, THE "MAGICIAN,As a- sleight-of-hand perfoTmer, Hugnrd makes great claims.
