, INCREASES IN VICTORIA. \ By Toleeraph—Press Association—Copyright (Rec. February 5, 9.25 p.m.) Melbourne, February ,5. The : charges for higher education in Meibourno will be increased shortly by • 12i per cent., in the case of,tuition alone and 5 per cent in the case of boarders. The Church of England Grammar School, the 1 Scotch College, Wesley College, and Gee- > long College have taken the initiative. • Tho ladies' colleges, except tho Methodi ist Ladies' College, are also increasing I their fees. It is that the reason is* to allow teachers better remuneration. -
