Mrs. Pankluirst, leader of tho militant suffragette campaign,' declared nt a meeting of suffragottos that she had made up her mind not to accept a Private Woman Suffrage Bill. There must bo an immediate Government measure or a dissolution. Mrs. Pank'luirst, in her speech, also congratulated the militant suffwgettcs' who had damaged the golf green at Birmingham. This -was ingenious, effective, ond prominent, as the front benchers in Parliament thought moro of golf than of governing. The women were preparing all sorts of other effective strokes. ' ■
