LONDON RESOLUTIONS. By Telegraph—Presß Association— Copyright (Reo. February 2, 5.5 p.m.) London, February 1. The Naval and Military .Defence Committee of the Chamber of Commerce, Lord Roberts presiding, has passed a resolution stating that it views with concern the increasing naval preparations of other nations, and hopes that immediate steps will bo taken to maintain Britain's position unchallenged. ■ The resolution expresses gratification that the overseas naval contributions are to be additional to the Government's programme.
