Some further information (says the Auckland "Herald") has been received regarding the drowning of Mrs. Forsyth, at Okcre, near Eotorua., It appears that the lady was fishing with her husband about eight o'clock in the evening, at a point where tho • current seta very strongly through a narrow channel. It is now clear, from tho medical examinlition that Mrs. Forsyth must, in her fall, have struck her head and been rendered unconscious at the moment she entered the water. Sho neither cried out nor spoke,' nor was she ablo to render any assistance at any stage of her attempted rescue.
