* TWENTY-FIRST YEAR. : (By Telegrapii — Special Reporter.) '/' ■'• -.'■' Palmerstpn North, January,29 . Woodville came of ago to-day as a show 'centre, the -'twenty-first annual gathering of tke Busk Districts A.'and P. -'Association' (wkich was held oh tke racecourse) being voted a success on all hands,.' Tho. weather was fine, and the attendance large for a district show, and the gathering'does not profess tb~bc more than this,. 'The skow.is undoubtedly an attractive draw, but it,is rather a pity that some of! the'classes'were'not bettor'filled. The 'ring* competitions brought.forward heavy' ''eiitries, : and; were' the '.popular .feature,, while tke hack, harness, and pony classes also filled up exceedingly well:' Draughts, however; w r ero not much in evidence, and the purebred cattle section was weak, the only competition being in Jerseys, and, even in -this'class,; thero were; only, five different breeders showing;; ..Crossbred dairy, cattle gavo a'.muck better competi-. tion.'one class having no fewer, 'than six- 1 iteen entries, ':'■■- ' ■ ■"'■',.;,' v. .. In common -with tke: bigger 'shows, pig-breeders failed .to respond to the attractions held out for their, stock. Before the close of tljo show the president (Mr. S.
