CRICKET. MEETING OF ASSOCIATION.' THE SCOEE-BOOK TANGLE. A racetiuj of tho Management Committee of the Wellington Cricket Association was held last night. Mr. M. P. Luckie presiding. A letter from the Auckland Cricket Association stated that tho matter of interprovincial fixtures had been under consideration, and although a Wellington team had gone north this year, it was desired to have one in Auckland again next season in order that all tho southern associations might he seen playing at Exhibition time. Por this; special match tho Wellington Association would bo allowed 50 per cent, of tho gate money! On tho suggestion of the chairman, it was agreed that a reply should bo deferred pending the result of a conference between the representatives of tho Canterbury and Auckland Associations. The Otago Association wrote to inquire if a Wellington representative team would be sent south, to play in. Dunedin this year. It was decided to reply in the negative. Regarding . the disputed' result of the Petone-Hutt match, it was decided that, in the case of a difference between tho batsmen's score and the bowling analysis, tho batsmen's score with extras should be taken as tho correct total. The match in question was awarded to Potono on the first innings. The secretary tos directed to advise the Wednesday Association that the association would be to arrange a match, Saturday v. Wednesday representatives, towards tho end of the season. Complaint was received as to the condition of St.: David's wicket, and it was resolved io point out to tho club. that if championship fixtures were to be played on tho wicket it would have to bo improved. ' MATCH POSTPONED. The annual match between olevens representing Government Life Insurance and A.M.P., which was to have been played yesterday, has been postponed till tomorrow. JUNIOR. CHAMPIONSHIP.
