TYPOGRAPHICAL UNION.
Thore was a largo attendance of members at the fiftieth annual'meeting of the Wellington Typographical Union, "held at the Oddfellows' Hall, On Saturday evening, Mr. Q. C. 1 Barker, president, in the chair. The report and bnlancc-shcet was adopted as presented; ■: The following were the officers selected for' tlie ensuing year:—President, Mr. James Harper (elected unopposed) ; vice-, president, Mr. M. .A. -Robinson (elected unopposed); secretary-treasurer,, Mr. J. W. F. MDougall (re-elected unopposed); trustees-of generd fund, Messrs. T. M'lntyro and D. Ryrio (re-elected unopposed) ; trustees of mortality fund, Messrs. W. C. Millar and W. Sutherland (re-elected unopposed); auditors, Messrs. H. E. Ashby and W. Parsons; board mombers, Messrs. S. Geary, B. J. Finucane, and F. W. Swift (re-elecf«d). A lic;!rty vote of thanks ivas accorded tho retiring president, (Mr. G. C. Barker), members omjphasising the services rendered to the union by him during tho two years that lie was their president. , .
