Washington, January 28. The War Department is experimenting with n new material for aeroplane planes, which will have the effect of ■ rendering I the. aeroplane' invisible at' a height of 500 ft. The planes will be of non-inflnm-mable: material, tougher and lighter than canvas. ,An experimental aeroplane is about t6 bo construoted. ; ■ ° , BRITISH AIR DEPOTS. >■. London, January 26. The. "Daily Mail" states that tho Admiralty has selected several bases on the oast and south coasts' watering-places'as air depots.' There will ultimately be three hundred waterplanes 'on the coast. The.Admiralty is making fresh experiments in;building airships. ...... LONG ZEPPELIN VOYAGE. Berlin, January 2?>.. A new Zeppelin airship travelled; continuously for sixteen hours.
. An English, firm was arranging to make a lipid Schqette-Jjanz airship, hut the Gorman Government blocked the negotiations by guaranteeing that the Government would do tho work.
