The .management of the Crown mine at Karangahake has decided to reduce tho number of men employed by sixty, and to discontinue all unremunerative development work. ■ : . . • WAIHI G.M. CO. Auckland, January 25. : ' The' Waihi Company ha 3 declared . a dividend of.,a shilling per share. Tho ; company has issued a circular stating that in'consequence of tlio development work having been dolayid by tho strike it is inadvisable to attempt to increase the output beyond about 15,000 tons each, four weeks.
