Lawrence Pried was fined J!l, ivitli 10s. costs, for assaulting Henry Ev.ms. Accused pleaded guilty. ■' Thomas Callaghan, charged with the theft of (i olock valued at 10s., (and which he panned for 25.), Was convicted and discharged on the condition that he paid back tho 2s. obtained by pawn. Stella Taylor was sentenced to Six months' imprisonment for boing a ropue and vagabond. There were several ior- ' mer convictions against her. William Spindler, who was charged with receiving stolen goods, was remanded until January 31. Iforncfl J, Richards, who was charged with forging a fcheqne for J25 at Martinborough, was remanded to appear there on January 31. David Matthews vras fined 55., phis Vs. Court costs, for allowing his cattle to wander at large on the Simla Estate.
