DEATH SENTENCE COMMUTED.
Sydney, January 21. The death sentence passed on the youth Roberts for the murder of Mr. Parkes, landlord of the Captain Cook Hotel, whom he shot in Octobor last, has been commuted to one of imprisonment for life.
