Recfton, January 23. • A serious accident to the windi/ig gear of the Energetic Mine renders it idle for .a week or so. Owing to overwinding' the cage carrying stone caught on the poppet heads. and the rope went back into tJio engineroom, doing damage. No one, fortunately, was hurt.. The management is taking all the men employed in the Energetic on at the Globe Mine till,the repairs'are effected.
