In connection with the programme of events for tbo. provincial championships, it was decided to transfer the polo juirAi and Wp-step-and-iump events from' the handioap,.series to the championship series. Winners of championships to have the option of selecting either:;(a) the customary gold medal; or (b) a substantial certificate nnd trophy to thevaluoof £2 25.; 'such option to be exercised within the week of holding the New Zealand championships, otherwise option, to be presumed in favour of a certificate .and trophy. ■"- -..■■ 2.
