- BRITISH COLONIES'APPEAL. By Telegraph-Press ABSociation-Oopyrleht Washington, January 22. Representatives from, the British colonies of Bermuda and the Bahamas appeared beforo the United States Congress Ways and Means Committee, asking for lower tariffs. These colonies trade chiefly with tho Republic. It was stated that the ultimate aim was full reciprocity.
