'An inquest into the death of a Stateinsured labourer at Lambeth disclosed the fact that tho doctor gave tho.man useless powder, without any examination of the patient; who soon died from syncope. '•; The doctor stated that when ho was called ho had three hundred waiting to get their medical tickets signed. . ■•" , The verdict stated that tho doctor was scandalously overworked.-
