It was : with the object' of bringing to the aid of millersof phbrmium fibre some pfoce'ss which would enable;the'fibre to.be secured, in an unimpaired, condition, at the same -time assuring this at a minimum of cost, {that'tho.New Zealand Government decid.'ed to offer a" substantial bonus («B12,000) .for'an improved process.
