i LANCASHIRE PLEDGE. By Telegraph-Press Association-Copyright London, January 19. The Lancashire section of tho National Unionist Association has unanimously thanked Lord Lansdowno and Mr. Bonar Lnw, the leaders of tho party, and pledged itself to support them. Lord Derby, while thoroughly adhering to tho Unionist policy of Imperial preference, advised his hearers at a meeting to abandon tho words "food taxes" nnd tree fooders, and leave no stone unturned to gain victory in tho towns.
