It is not proposed to maintain the office of assistant accountant, vacated by Mr; Bennet, but Mr.' C. B. Crawford will take up the work formerly done by Mr. Bennot. Mr. F. P. Manson, of the Wellington district engineer's oflioc, will become chief book-keeper in tho head. Office. Mr. W. T. Wiggs, of' tho: Nelson oflice; lakes Mr. Manson's place in Wcl. lington, and Mr. F- H. S. Ibbotson,, from Blonheim, eucoceds Mr. ..Wiggi..
