HORTICULTURAL SHOW.
Tho ballot for the best decorated tables by the patrons of the Horticultural 1 Show at' St. Thomas's Hall was announced last evening. The Tesults are: Mrs. Russell, 1 j Miss Ranson, 2. Both received handsome prizes donated by Messrs. Read and Fonwiok. The sealed award by the judges placed Misa Sanson first, and Mrs. Beck second, which entitles them to. the special prizes donated by Messrs. Pettorson Bros., Newtown. -The juvenile decorated table prize by Mr. GTonside was awarded to Miss Biddy Christie. Theso exhibitions of flowers, fruit, and vegetables should have tho effect of stimulating tho beautifying of tho homo and city, as well as being profitable to those ooncerncd. Tho. show arrangements were under' the management of tho committee, tho senior secretary (Mr.' B. Bell), and tho treasurer (Mr. Salmon) being particularly active.
