HUTT GUN CLUB.
The monthly competition of the Hutt Valley Gun Club was hold at Taita yesterday, when tho events decided wow a 21 clay-bird, match and a 12-bird sweepstake. Tho former event was won by J; Brasell, with 10 out of 21. He thus wins Mr. S. Scott's trophy, having previously secured a "leg-in." The sweepstake was won by S. Edwards with 11 out of 12. The following wore tho leadins scores in tho two events:— Twontv-ono-bird event: .T. Brasell, 10 yards, 1!) out of 21; A. Scott, 17 yards, 19 out of 21; S. Edwards, 17 yards, 17 out of 21; C. Sidev. 17 yards, 17 out of 21. Twelve-bird sweepstake: S Edwards, 17 yards, 11 out of 12; J. Brasell, 12 yards, 10 out of 12; A.-Scott; 17 yards, 9 out of 12.
