KEEN COMPETITION. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright London, January 15. At tho wool sales.thoro was keen competition by English and Oontincntal buyers. Fine ,haired wools were at full openinpr rates. Oro6sbrcds were firm and prices unchanged. Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Ltd., Wellington, have been advised by cable from their London office, under date of January 15, as follows:—"Wool coles continue very firm.. Merino wools, Rood quality and condition, and crossbred wools, fine quality, prices aro from par to' 6 per cent, higher as compared with;the closing rates of'.last serka. For lower'quality' merino and crossbred wools prices are rather lower,"' ,
