A FALL ON A KNIFE. : ; •Mr. Charles Hcinold, ,of. Homo Street,. Wellington, met with an accident at; DimocVs bacon factory at Ngahaurnnga yesterday. Ho slipped while. carrying a bap; of flour, and fell on a knifo which ho. had with him. He received a deep exit in 'the back of his neck, and a cut on ono of his hands, and ho is ;now in the hospital. ■• \ ■ 1 SEVERELY, SCALDED. (By Telegraph,—Press Association.) • Tlmaru, January 10. . Bruco Paterson. three years old, son of the Albury stationmaster, 'was severely scalded by tripping into a pail of boiling water, in which caustic soda was dissolved.
