AMALGAMATION EST THE AIR.

Besides the inter-State consolidation of. bushworkers, and the State unification of labourers' unions, a proposal is on foot to form an inter-State federation of tho building trade organisations.

The clerks, 6hop assistants, and storemen are also contemplating amalgamation.',.

The '"Worker," the official organ of the Labour party, announces that if the scheme is adopted by a conference of delegates and accepted by the unions, the amalgamation will have a roll-call of 100,000.
