BABIES' COURT.
A Babies' Court has recently been established in' Chicago. .This Court, whioh is tho first of its description in tho world, is in connection with the Court of JJomestio' Relations in that oity. A clerk has been appointed to the Court, a Mrs. Mary Leavitt, whose duty it will bo to endeavour to settle disputes between parents regarding the infants. Tho waitingrcom at the Court has been arranged like a largo nursery, with toys, cots, books, etc., for tho entertainment of the children and trained nurses are also in attendance. ...-•'■■ „ ~', "Mrs. Leavitt (says an English paper ou this subject), who has been connected with the Court of Domestic Relations for somo time past, is dubbed by Chicagoans tho mender of.broken hearts, as during the present year, she has, by her extiaordinary tact and cympathy, satisfactorily settled 2776 cases ( of marital unhappiness out 'of court."
