STILL RAGING. LIVES LOST IN RAILWAY WRECK. By Tolcgraph—Prcsß Association—Copyright London, January 13. The blizzard which has been raging over great Britain for somo days still continues. Tho Cunard liner Mauritania has been delayed at Liverpool for twenty-eight hours Tho Whito Star liner Celtic is at Quconstown. Sho reports that on hor trip from Now York sho encountered mountainous seas. Her speed was reduced, and oil was. poured,on the waves. Tho High Peak (Derbyshire) railway has been blocked for thrco days. 'Thousands of workmen at the Peak ttono quarries are idle. The Leicester express collided, while travelling at a speed of fifty miles an hour, with a Walsall train at Bromford Lane. Both were: wrecked; thTce persons losing their lives. Tho accident is attributed to the snow affecting tho signals. Snow broke an electric wire at- Sheffield, which fell on to the tramway, receiving'a high charge of eloctricityi Two horses and their drivers sustained shocks, and Were unable to escape. Two. workmen, who ran to their rescue, were%also struck down; Two others then took off their overcoats, 6tood on one, and threw the other to the stricken men, who were hauled out of danger.
