TO-DAY'S DINNER.
(Speolally written for The Dominion.)
: WEDNESDAY. Vegetable soup. Colonial gooso. Potatoes. Cabbage. Boiled bread pudding. Stewed apricots. ' BOILED BREAD PUDDING.. ' Half-pound stale bread, 2ozs. currants, Jib. brown sugar, a little nutmeg, \ pint milk,i3 tablespoonfuls flour, loz. Valencia raisiifis, 3ozs. suet minced, 1 teaspoonful baking powder, 1 egg, pinch of salt. Soak the bread in. cold, water pno hour, squeeze it well, add tho flour, currants, sugar, nutmeg,: baking powder, suet, raising, stoned and cut in half, milk and egg. Mix thoroughly, put in a well-greased basin or mould, covor with buttered paper, and steam one hour. Turn out and servo with sweet melted butter. ■
