LINER BREAKS A SHAFT. London, January 12. The Norddeutscher-Lloyd steamer GroS' ser Kurfurst, 13,102 tons; has broken hei crank shaft a thousand miles eastwari of Cape Race, Newfoundland. ■ The Grosser Kurfurst is a twin screv vessel, built in 1899 at Danzig.
