SUMMARY AND FORECAST.
Present Indications ate for westerly and no'rthorly winds, strong to gale; warm .and sultry weather on the East Cowta of both islands, but increasing cloudt ncsD generally, with rain following for a storm area, which appears to be approaching: from the westward. The barometer is li&oly to fall fart everywhere 6oon. . Strong_west to south-west winds hart prevailed, with showery and changeable weather on .the West Coast and southern districts of the Bouth Island, and fair tc cloudy weather elsewhere.
