At a sitting of,the Petone Court yew / terday morning (before Messrs. MT3wau ! and yPnkoham, J.P.'s) James Gibbons was ■charged with assaulting Alfred John Hart and Frank Wilson. It was stated in evidence that the affair; took ' place in, a ' hotol. The police report was to. tho effect that there were several; previous convictionsigainst acousod. 'A fine of .£lO was ■imposod, in default two months' impris- > onmont.' Charles William Drain, and William/Robert Drain were oharged .withy U6ing bad language.
