'\ - : ' - Auckland, January 10^ ■The weather was perfect to-day when tho Northern Bowling Association's- champion rink' competition, was concluded- on tho Auckland green,' The teams left in tho final were:—Auckland (Eyrie, Thornes, Black, Osmond), Wellington (Kinvig, Les : lie, Porteous, Bell), Paluicrston, North (Jollie, Dickson, Pickering', Nash): '• Bell,' and Osmond played tho first' game, and after a very'close, contest Bell. Won by 21' to 20, Honours were ensy- on- tho 21st head, but on an additional head being played Bell scored one and won tho game.. Bell had no. difficultyin beating Nashih the" final, the: scores bang 24 to. 23 'in his favour. ; '•'■'.. ■
