WOOL SALES AND EXPORTS.

DECEMBER AND HALF-YEARLY : ' TOTALS. Returns compiled by Messrs. Dalgefy and Co., Ltd., snow that during December , 119,171 bales of wool were, offered for. sale in' New Zealand, and 67,00-1 were sold. , Tho total offered for the six months to the end of December was 88,740 bales, and the sales 80,356. as against 67,785 offered and 64,012 sold during the corresponding six months ,of 1911; The exports of wool for December were 65,416 .bales,' and for the six months 131,285 bales, as compared yith ,137,450 bales for the corresponding, . period. of 1911; .Tallow exports for the year show a rise. In all, 7052 tons were exported., as against 4967 for. 1911.
