EDUCATION IN NEW SOUTH WALES.
In a retrospect of the past year; from; an education point of view the New South Wales .'Minister ; for Education states:' "1 do not think that any single year intho educational' annals of the State has been so progressive as this year. Wo havo jinked up every .phase of education, <wo have proved by examination the sound* ness of tho work being' done in the schools; ihcreiis a deep, growing interest on the part of the public in all matters, educational; tho teachers givo-every evidence of their loyalty) and efficiency; our boys and girls are growing up healthy and =trong, and I cannot but think that the educational star never shone so brightly as it does at this close of 1912.'
