January 8, 1.15 a.m.) Sydney, January 6, The Sprockols liner Sonoma has arrived from Sad Francisco aftor a passage of eighteen days eight hours, whioh constitutes a record. She 'has landed her English mails in twenty-eight days from London. Tho passengers include the Hon. J. i C. Lister and Dr. Dunwoody, both of whom aro en route to'Rotorua,on a fishing expedition.
